God's Great Grace: Gaining the Victory God Has For Us in Our Weaknesses!!!

Updated: Jan 13

Throughout life I have seen spectacles and spectacular events that men, women, and children have done. I've seen in person and through video people and teams of great abilities, talents, and knowledge. All of these things are done in ways to do what has never been done before in order to have a claim or right to the unbelievable.

In 2 Corinthians Chapter 12, Paul explains that if anyone had bragging rights about their experiences and what God was doing through him, it had to be Paul! Paul is reminded of his greatest Spiritual experience that he knows, not almost anyone can boast about, but instead he choses to boast about his weaknesses! An interesting reverse psychology trick, no! This is the method and message of how to gain great victory, by understanding God's ability that is available in us! (2 Corinthians 12:5-10).

Sin breaks the law, but God's (loving kindness and) grace has been made available to correct, surpass, and empower us! Sin is a result of weakness in following God's word or disobedience upholding God's Law. Sin nature began through one man's disobedience and are the areas of weakness that do not please God. Desires against God's plan produces sin which ultimately brings forth death according to James. (James 1:15).

Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (James 1:15 KJV)

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: that as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:19-21 KJV).

God doesn't want the body of Christ to be disporportional and unequally shaped with one strong arm and weak legs spiritually speaking. Paul is speaking of God's desire of unity and strength in every believer. That He wants the whole entire body of Christ to understand the power of His Grace that flows through the body. God wants the body of Christ strong and in good spirits. Therefore, he wants us strong in HIM and not in our own ability. Paul was saying that if we are to boast in anything, let us boast in our weakness because God is the only one that can make us strong. That true strength is found in Jesus Christ. So, if you feel weak this week, remember, It is when you feel the weakest that God will make you the strongest.

2 Corinthians 12: 9

"but He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me."
